My client bought a traditional Tudor home nestled in the woods of Vienna, VA. He loved the setting but wanted a modern, clean look and feel.
We got started! New floors throughout the main and upstairs levels united the several existing flooring materials for improved flow. The stairs were renovated with clean lines and a modern feel.
Rooms were given new identities to better suit my client’s entertaining needs. The living room was crafted into an intimate conversation room adorned with graphic art. We removed a door leading nowhere and replaced it with spectacular art.
The dining & family rooms open to each other and the patio allowing free flow between the three spaces. In the dining room, traditional columns and fireplace surround were removed resulting in an open, airy feel and the installation of a gorgeous floor to ceiling marble fireplace surround flanked by contemporary wall sconces. The large live edge dining table comfortably seats ten.
The family room changed from country to WOW with the tray ceiling lined with custom stained planks and stunning lighting. A comfortable leather sectional reclines with a push of a button. The kitchen table is perfectly placed to enjoy the amazing views.
