Stairway Wall Unit II

Description

The Stairway Wall Unit II is constructed from walnut veneered MDF. The doors are upholstered in leather with an 18 karat gold leaf frame and beautifully shaped, brushed brass pull. The unit can be configured as a wall unit with the back (as shown) or act like a wall as a freestanding room divider finished on both sides, including doors (no back). Choose the same leather and pull for both sides or change it up on each side depending on the room’s décor or function. Use these side-by-side modular units to create the width you need. Shown in a medium walnut stain and stain finish. Choose from our many leathers and finishes to create your perfect look.

Stairway Wall Unit II Story

Led Zeppelin is the quintessential rock band. They make me recall days of my youth running around with the neighborhood gang like hoodlums, so carefree. When we gathered at each other’s home, Led Zeppelin was always on the stereo––8 track tape back then.

When I started designing this wall unit and placed the doors resembling a stairway, of course their incredible hit song “Stairway to Heaven” started playing in my head. That song was the soundtrack to my days spent with the gang.

I mentioned that I was thinking about naming the wall unit after the song to my assistant. Her eyes lit up. “That’s my favorite song of all time,” she said. That settled it, and the Stairway Wall Unit had its name.
