Paula Grace Halewski is an award-winning designer. Most recently, Paula was named Best Interior Designer in Ashburn, VA, 2018, and has been included in the Home & Design Portfolio of Washington, D.C., Top 100 Designers every year since 2011. Both Paula’s interior designs and her furnishing pieces have been featured in regional, national, and international publications. She’s been hand-selected to participate in designer show houses and is regularly asked to speak and consult for the interior design industry. Paula has lectured across the country on topics related to effective interior design business practices.
Paula prides herself in truly understanding the clients’ needs. She draws from her background in psychology and her own life experiences. From first being a single professional with a rising career to having a family life with her husband and daughter, Paula understands the importance of home at each stage. Ensuring your space suits your functional needs while showing who you are and your style, within your desired financial investment, is her priority. Prior to studying Interior Design, Paula earned Masters degrees in Clinical Social Work and Business Administration. She held a Directorship of a large behavioral health program and was a Senior Instructor, graduate level, in a prestigious university medical center.
Paula was born in upstate New York to Bianca and Bogdan Halewski. Her mother was an aspiring interior decorator with a dramatic, artistic flair. Her father attained Bachelor and Masters Degrees in Business Administration. Paula inherited her natural, artistic flair from her mother and her logical, focused approach and organizational skills from her father. She lives in northern Virginia with her husband Jim, daughter Lauren, and rescue dog Millie.
